We began attending East Side in 1987 when Jeff and I were married, by Pastor Chip, in the old yellow-walled, red-carpeted sanctuary.

When Cody came along in 1991 and Cameron in 1993, I naturally began serving in the Nursery and Children's Ministry.

In 1996, Jeff and I became volunteer youth workers with the Senior High Ministry and have loved (almost) every minute of it!
We have been blessed to meet dear friends and amazing teens...it keeps us young and has become a huge part of who we are and what we do.

And to think...when we started, I didn't even LIKE teenagers! I'm so glad I didn't let that tiny little detail stop me.

In March, 2010, I hopped into the role of Children's Ministry Assistant/Event Planner (my first event was the Easter Egg Hunt).

It's exciting to step out of my comfort zone (I haven't had a boss in over 20 years) and see what God has in store!
